My main hdd is full, what to do?

I have two HDD: first is 40GB which is partitioned into 2 x 20GB and 160GB for backup. I have XP that is installed on my 20 GB partition ...

I did a deep cleaning with CCleaner to recover the place but I'm at the end

So this is what I make a copy of my main hdd (the two partitions.)
The format and delete partitions and then reinstall the two backups.

    My questions:

    1 is this technically possible?
2 there exists the possibility to copy all of my HDD on a site online to get it then knowing that if I format my hdd I can not start my PC?
3 I actually do not know what to do

    Please help me!

    you can:

1 reduce the size of your partition from 160GB to 120GB
    2 you can copy what's on your 2 x 20GB themselves on 120GB
3 resize your 2 x 20GB and increase the size due to be released on the 160GB
4 Then you reinstall your windows and save your data

In fact what you can do is make two partitions on your 160GB hdd. Put your files from 2 x 20GB on one of two partitions of 160 GB. Then embodied a master of your windows and balance on your second partition of 160 GB.

Ok thank you for your reply. In fact upon further reflection I think I will copy my files on my HDD backup and I will format the other and reinstall everything. Against by how to remove the partition and find a simple HDD 40 GB?
Should I delete the partition before you format or when you install XP?

Re: My main hdd is full, what to do?

I have XP installed since 3 years, or may be more, my Windows is in 1GB (I moved c:/program files/ in d: but the proper folder does not have more than 1GB).

So I would recommend even you to move the Program Files folder to some other drive. Also you can even move your Documents and Settings folder to some other drive.
