Re: Power Problem with Asus Motherboard

hi,
maybe you have still warranty on the motherboard? the green light flashes when the PC is in standby. In your case it seems he is no longer "awaken" it. I think I would then pull plug all times, the BIOS and remove the battery wait a few minutes, so a BIOS reset it. Maybe you even need a jumper on the mainboard that changed, I am not sure.

hi,
The LED on most motherboard that always stays lit. Specificly, I would ask how your PSU is connected to the motherboard and the power button. It sounds like there may be a latching voltage problem.Other than that we'll need more info to determine anything else.

hi,
I had same problem with my p5k-e ,a mid/high-end board.try to take out your ram and put it back after some time. It did the trick for me on both occasions. The LED means that your board is still ok, I think.
