Thermaltake VI-ON External Hard Drives Enclosures

Thermaltake launches two new cases for external hard drives, format 2.5 or 3.5 inches, with a design rather worked.

The 2.5-inch version is still fairly traditional, it has disks on SATA-II interface and communicate with the PC interface USB 2.0. These boxes weigh 120 grams and will be available in black or white. The installation disk will be without tools, and a strip of metal honeycomb allow a minimum of aeration.

The 3.5-inch version is already a little more stylish, with a design very similar to the Wii. Its support enables it to land on the slice, slightly bias, recall the history of Nintendo console.

The breakdown will also somewhat in the same place, with a small fan 40 mm extraction, self between 1000 and 4800 rpm for a noise below 27 dB. The whole weighs 480 grams, eSATA and USB compatible. The 3.5-inch hard drives to put on a vibration system, and SATA-II interface.
