    Interchange a hard drive?

Since I do not know much about hardware, I wanted to know if it was possible to take the hard disk of a computer (table) and install it in another computer, without the risk of losing everything on the hard

It is not possible, you should format the hard drive to put over your windows (even if windows is already installed on the hard disk, it will not be on another tour).
A person with a lot of knowledge could get someone here had already given a link to do so but for a beginner it would be far too complicated.

If you put the 80 gig instead of 40 you will have to format and you will lose all your data.
Of course you could make a backup or backup your data before formatting.

Another solution would be to put the 2 hard disk on your pc ...

Ha is not the same, what is the brand of disc you want to install
in the Pc, there are utilities for transfer without any loss
data, I as an example that Western Digital did it.

you can not transfer a hard drive of a computer to another without formatting the disk, because the pilots of a computer are not compatible on the other computer

what you can do is to plug in a USB key and transfer it to this key all the data you want to keep and after you unplugged the 80G disk and you will install in your new computer and you format

and then you take the key you put your data and you re-install
