Disable UPS beep

Hello ppl,


I have a EMERGE 500VA SPECIAL UPS, the problem i am facing is that it sounds a loud beep when switching on and when its operating, Is there any way to disable it ??

Please help me out with this problem.

Well as far as i know its not easy to quite that sound easily.
You can go through the manual & find if there is anything helpful in case of its sound.
I hope we can find some way to help you regarding this sound problem with your EMERGE 500VA SPECIAL UPS

Disable System Beep in Device Manager (Windows XP):

• Open up Device Manager by right-clicking on My Computer and choosing Properties, then on the Hardware tab you'll find the button for Device Manager.
• Select View \ Show hidden devices from the menu.
• Find Non-Plug and Play Drivers in the list, and then right-click on "Beep"
• Disable it

When it prompts you to restart, select no, and then right-click again and choose Properties. On the Driver tab, change the Startup type to "Disabled" and then click the "Stop" button if you are able to.
This will disable the system beep speaker.

Thanks a lot for replying, I went through the manual but couldn't find anything related to disabling the beep.
