Problem with DVD writer

I am having problem with DVD writer. It read CD but problem comes when i insert DVD it can't read i don't know whats the problem ?

Can someone help me ?

Download update from manufacturer sites. Is your DVD writer in Warranty ? If in warranty then replace it.

Yes DVD writer is in Warranty. i will first first download updates. if then also it not work properly then i will replace.
