Unable to reinstall HP 3500C scanner

Hello,
Since I reinstall my operating system Windows XP PRO, I am no longer able to reinstall my HP 3500C scanner. At the end of the installation, I have 2 error messages, a window that says it has an error on line 144 and line 95. (Attached)
Before making a new attempt (at least 5 times), I try to remove all traces of what might remain of the previous installation, which does not always seem possible.

If you have a solution, it would be welcome.

completely reinstall your XP and make sure you are up to date, ie the crowd SP3 + patches that followed. Then reinstall your scanner driver of origin.

Then go with HP 3500C type in the search box and you will see another big pile of patches and fixes for download that are specifically due to improvements in Windows XP. For your particular model, there are nearly a dozen.

Hello,
I installed/downloaded from the CD which was bought. I finally solved my problem by downloading the latest driver 232.1 from HP site.
