Council hard disk silent and reliable 500 GB

As the title I need to replace 2 samsung 200 gb (one of the quietest series that has ever been made), but for some out of the tour. So I wanted to ask if there were indications of a hard disk 500 gb that is silent (so that food can have less) and that did not have defects in design or manufacture encountered (see the old Maxtor Dmax plus 9). I would be tempted by WD, but lately I have a disappointed because there are revision and sometimes it happens that makes some noise absurd (I have a 320 gb). I have also recently taken a 500 GB WD and I felt it was particularly performance (using a network seems to me that access is a little hesitation).
The disc has to be so quiet, cool and reliable. Performance interests me little. 2 samsung I have always worked well, but maybe they are the cause of a number of absurd that I'm having a few months now, leading to the continuing corruption of the OS.

    In my shop find a reference samsung HD501LJ (Samsung 500Gb S-ATAII 3.5 7200rpm 16Mb) to 47 including VAT, or 2 HD with 500 gb:

    ST3500320AS - Seagate 500Gb S-ATAII 3.5 7200rpm 32Mb
    ST3500820AS - Seagate 500Gb S-ATAII 3.5 7200rpm 8Mb

The cuts 750 gb instead seem less attractive (except for a Samsung 750GB S-ATAII 3.5 7200rpm 32Mb), even compared with cuts of 1 TB.

Ah that's why cost even less than the samsung: I played a little this strange thing, though I have not given too much weight, since I have not checked the other lists.

This samsung instead? Compared with previous series behaves like?
