Re: Hard disk partition

you put the boot on your DVD player, you insert your windows. So your pc will boot your Windows CD and you can format the partition of 60 GB then gives you the boot on your hard drive that contains XP, the 100GB,

Re: Hard disk partition

Formatting the 60 GB does not affect the 100 Gb so go for that.

Re: Hard disk partition

If not to boot from the CD then

it will simply return to the BIOS of your machine (generally, you must press the button "Delete" or "del" at boot) and find the option.

You will have "First boot device, Second boot device" ... Simply select the CD can "First boot device".

It is advisable to "Second boot device" on the hard disk.

if not del (delete) may be its f8 or f6, depending on the pc.
