Samsung SCX 4521F printing problem

Hello,

i am using a new computer with Vista and also purchased new samsung multi function. but my new printer is not ready to work with my pc I have tried everything, nothing to do: "ERROR - PRINTING IN PROGRESS"
but damn it's crazy!

• i have change the cable,
• i have change the port,
• i have reinstall driver,

vista detects it is , but it cant seem to print the document please really need help thanks

I just checked it and it not working with the driver for XP installed on my old sets. I have redone the same setting this morning: the driver reinstall vista on my new computer, nothing was done. everything is installed, the printer is detected, installed .finally I read yesterday on the web it might be problem of vista . god i really do not know. I even emptied the memory of the computer.thinking virus would be causing this

Have you tried installing the driver for Windows XP manually via Device Manager? If not for the parallel port forget what I have said there is not a laptop! After otherwise it must use a parallel port to USB.

The problem is the same as you connect in parallel or USB? Otherwise try with the driver for Windows XP.

For manual installation proceeds as follows:

1. Unzip the file 20070324101727078_SCX-4x21_Printer using the winrar or winzip .
   
2. In Device Manager, right-click on the row to the printer and select Update Driver.
   
3. Check Install from a list or specific location (Advanced) / Do not search it will choose the driver to install.
   
4. Click on Disk / Explore.
   
5. Select the file in the folder SUGW2.inf decompressed 20070324101727078_SCX-4x21_Printer/PRINTER/GDI/WINXP2K then click Open.
   
6. Click OK, Next and Finish.
   
7. Restart the computer.
