    External Hard drive problem with files transfer

    I am trying to transfer files over 7GB but I cannot transfer it in my external hard drive while space is still free of 600GB. I have not encountered any problem for movies. Please help me.

    What file system is used on your external hard drive. If it is FAT32 then you will need to convert it to NTFS file system because FAT32 file system can copy data upto 1-2gb max.

    You do not have to format your HDD,
    Click on Start
    then Run
    type cmd and use the command (in the console you tapes as follows
    convert h: fs: ntfs / x
    H: (drive letter of your external hard drive).

    Thank you, it is indeed FAT32.
    But the order does not work in the console, it is marked "drive specification is invalid"
    This is the M drive and I typed in the command: "convert m: fs: ntfs / x"
