    Is my NIC damaged

    Hello,

I have 4 computers and they are attached to a router, have taken home network. Among 4 computers, 3 seems to be working fine. I have taken 5mb cable modem account. I get download speed something like 510kps on my 3 pc and one pc seems to be very bad. I tried out everything by cleaning up adware/spyware, did registry cleaning and optimization.

Even try to run virus checks but didn't work out. I tried to change the MTU, even set the nic from auto to 100mps, but was of no use. Is there any problem with my NIC?

    Re: Is my NIC damaged?

Did you tried switching router ports?

Have you bought the UTP cable from the store or it's Home-Made?

Try to use some other cable, it might be the UTP cable that have damaged or it may be due to incorrect wiring.
