Hard disk cloning

I currently hold a 40 GB hard drive and 120 GB are packed. In the 40 GB hard drive I do not want to reinstall Windows and all over again. I bought a 250 GB. How can I clone the 40 GB hard drive in the 250 and use this as my C: quedante as intact as it had in the 40GB.

Hopefully can help me, and I have tried several solutions and has not been possible.
