Waterproof keyboards already exist on the screen it is usually enough to put it in the next room behind a glass. I see lots of uses for it, since the deployment in a hostile environment type factories full of dust, manipulated by people who have products on dirtys hands. To leave in public places outside semi open and can take more rain. What surprises me is that it did not already exist, rather that it has no applications.

The manufacturer is perhaps not the time to test it on Linux or Mac OS but good I do not see why it would not work. It remains, apart from the side waterproof, with mouse buttons.
