I think my Auto Run have disbaled.

Hey I face a problem of auto run. Auto run does not pop-up automatically, it does not ask me what action to be perform whenever i insert any cd in my dvd-rom drive. It has stopped appearing the window on my screen.

I have tried to uninstall the drive as well as even tried to reinstall the drive. But it doesn't seems to get back the auto run feature.

Can any one help me out to get back auto run feature?

Hey Avinash if you are using Windows Xp, then try to perform these steps:-


1. Open Windows Explorer by pressing the Windows + "e" key.

2. Right-click the desired CD-ROM and select Properties from the menu.

3. Select the AutoPlay tab.

4. Select each item from the pulldown list and for the Action to perform,
select " Taking no action " to disable auto run.

5. Select OK.
