    Hardisk attack problem!

Hello, I have to change the hard disk into a computer and I have a new SATA, which is 80 GB!
what we had before was PATA (8gb), now I wonder ..... on the motherboard there is the big attack (the 5 cm) and the cable that connected the old hard disk does not fit the new plug, how can I do? there a way? There is a cable that has an attachment to this old motherboard, I help?
    Thank you!

    You have 2 solutions:
you replace with a sata hdd pata,
or buy a Sata controller on PCI slot (this with respect to the data cable)
For the power cable are in the market of special cables.

I refer to the slot of the mobo which is called as SLOT PCI (white, long, below the video sk) if you have one free you can put a SK expansion with SATA controller. Now I know not to tell the cost but if you do a search on ebay or google you can find out.
Otherwise, if the HDD you bought from a store in your area you can ask him to replace it with an IDE (or almost the same cost of sata)

If you keep your data from the controller little notice from a few money measusres and instead change the facts with a PATA disk, it makes little sense to buy a SATA disk and an adapter, except that we have run out of slots available.
Aahan I know that the direct links to eBay are not allowed.
