    Verbatim launched quad-interface desktop hard drives

    According to the magazine Electronista, the company Verbatim is about to launch a new hard drive model with four interfaces connection. Soberly called Quad Interface, it has two FireWire ports 400 and 800, a SATA II external connection and a USB connector.

    The drive runs on Windows or Mac OS X but only Windows users will be able to use the automatic backup software provided BackItUp 2 Essentials developed by Nero. The Quad Interface display a transfer rate up to 3Gb / s eSata to 7200 rpm. Two versions have been broken: 500 GB for $ 180 or 1 TB pou $ 250.

    They have not changed in design, I have a USB like that. Besides Nero BackItUp 2 has very little market for me ..
