Problem with 1 TB SATA HDD on SATA PCI VIA

I have problems with my server (pc standard windows home server).
I now 2 up 250 GB SATA disk plugged into a PCI SATA. I buy 2 DD Western Digital 1TB history to increase my storage.

Follwing steps i did :

1. I disconnected a DD 250
2. Instead I connect a 1TB
3. I restarts, do not worry, everything works.
4. I disconnected a 250 GB HDD
5. I plug the 2nd up to 1 TB
6. And it is shit, Windows refuses to start, I did not even start windows logo, just the progress bar white on a black background, then nothing.

I thought it may be the DD, I therefore remove 1 SD of 1 TB and then boot it, basically, I have the impression that the controller card made his.

Somebody already have this concern ?

What is the reference of the chipset

chipset VIA VT6421

I solved my problem there are 2 internal SATA ports and 1 external, so I connected the 2nd DD on the external port, and then strangely it works
