Choosing internal hard drive

That I try to buy a new internal hard drive (Sata 2) of at least 1 TB
I seek the most efficient without exploding the budget.
I am quite demanding noise operation.
I seek a guarantee of at least 5 years.
Could you tell me which choice between Seagate and WD?
WD => I do not understand the difference between the Black and Green series (for performance).

Is this a cache of 32 MB to 16 MB compared change something (for a hard drive brand Seagate or WD)?

For the series at Green WD I think there is a history of less cosommer and thus be more environmentally friendly, supposedly without losing performance.
After for 32 MB cache I guess its should still be better than 16
