    IDE channel issue

I assembled my pc in july and at the beginning BIOS booted normally, but after a couple of months it displays a message IDE channel 3 SMART capability disabled, what can be a mistake here?
Whats a question with no answer called ?><

    Re: IDE channel issue

If your PC boot properly, do not worry worry. Anyway, this option does not make much sense ... SMART is a diagnostic tool. It warns you if problem are detected and it allows you to predict the death of a hdd.
If you want to activate it, do it in the BIOS.

if you have any IDE devices in your config, you can (usually) turn off the IDE controller in bios
