- When is the first motherboard with USB ports 3 coming?

- If you buy a motherboard now will it be possible (once the ubs 3 will be out) to buy a controller card for USB 3 USB ports 3? Or it will not be possible since the motherboard will be provided for that?

The expected date of release of the USB 3 is at the end of sometime year 2008. Surely then motherboards in 2009.

You can always add a PCI card for the USB 3.0 (PCI Express rather I think) which is done with USB2 .0 or firewire.

Because I intended to buy a new PC in January 2009, and I wondered whether I expect better than that USB 3 kind or not. Because I would like when it is available for external HDD USB 3.0 .
