    Problem of confidential files

I have Windows XP Pro installed on my PC and I have a hard disk which I wanted to reformat but as I think Windows would replace the previous installation. I therefore want to delete everything and install new Windows on another directory (say I: ). I would then reinstall again in C:. And finally wanting to format the rest of the computer including I. But I visited a folder which was confidential. I can not delete it any more, I can no longer go on my windows.

how to delete this private folder?

I think I have understood the need to (re) initialize the disk: it is best to use a tool to format your hard disk. It will then restart the installation.

With a live CD of Linux distribution, it must also be possible to truly blank table disk partition.

"confidential" What does that means? Would not it be simpler and more secure, a "clean" windows installed on a blank (formatted) disc?

Just make a backup of data and format the hard disk.

"Confidential": this means that access rights are not good! By being "administrator", we can go with the appropriate directory and then delete it.

    yup,

The confidential files simply removes the right to change everything in the world. In order to delete it you must have an user account on the system with the right to edit.
