In such circumstances, your scanning device theoretically can not function under the 64bit edition of Vista. Il existe toutefois une solution. There is one solution. It is not universal, but almost ... I have tested many scanners without any problem.
This solution is called VueScan. The scanning software installs a kind of universal driver that manages more than 700 scanners and more than 209 cameras. VueScan also works well on Vista 32bit (x86) on Vista 64bit (x64).
VueScan 8.4.96 is a shareware download for free.
