partition logical drive in vista

Hi,
Bear with me please. My husband has a computer with dual core processor. The logical drive is half the storage space from the computer. He wants to take some the logical drive and make it a partition (he now has C and would like to make E or whatever. Is this possible?

Ya this is possible,

Simply follow these steps:

1. Click Start
   
2. Right Click on Computer > Select Manage
   
3. You may get a User Account Control dialog here; just click Continue
   
4. In the left pane, under Storage category,
   
5. click on Disk Management
   
6. Now select the partition you wish to modify by right clicking on it
   
7. In the context menu, you will see options to Extend, Shrink or Delete the partition.
   
8. Select the option you want.
