DVD writer no longer detects Disc!

Hello,
My DVD will not play no more serious and despite a CD or DVD is inserted,the system no longer detects the disc. On the Device Manager works Normal this recorder.
This may be the problem.

Hi,

Have you check that when you insert CD/DVD into DVD ROM then Green Light appears on it or it just remains blank.Please check that..
That doesn't matter whether your ROM makes noise.

Have you tired openin My Computer and see if it says its there. If so just double click it.

Yes,It shows that DVD(Rw) device is available, I am also able to insert the CD into the DVD drive.

Yeh, If can insert it into the drive and its working, you should be able to see what you put in, in the My Computer. Heres a example noticed how 2142 and bf2 are shown in the drives, if yours is working it should be there which means you can double click it and it should load/run whatever you want.
