    Mouse partially inactive

My problem is that, the mouse works very well sometimes but remains inactive other time. For example if the mouse is active on a window (lets say on Internet Explorer window), but when you want to change window, the mouse still moves but 2 clicks are inactive. The problem is not of the mouse because I tried 2 other mouses and the problem persists.

So I reformatted my computer and reinstalled windows but always got the same problem.

Scanned my computer with most popular antivirus. That did nothing. I tried Norton, Avast, Antivir, AVG, BitDefender, Kapersky, Panda, NOD32, ...

Does anyone have an idea ?

Are you having PS2 or USB mouse? If that is USB mouse then did you checked with another USB port?

Could be a disk problem? The bad sector may be blocking windows.
