kernel data disk error

Hi all I have a little problem with my PC to crash often with a blue screen that says "kernel data disk error" So I have a little doubt with the hard disk or the motherboard.

I wonder if there are small software with which we can test your hard drive

• Run chkdsk /r or chkdsk /f to detect and resolve any file system structural damage.
