    CI / CA module

Is there someone who can quite accurately describe the difference between these 2 modules?

    Re: CI / CA module

CI is Interface (CI = Common Interface), i.e. the slot you insert CA module in (CAM = Conditional Access Module). In CA module will add a decoder card and CA module + decoder cards are put into the CI slot in the TV.
