    Disk write protect

I have a multimedia hard disk PEEKTON 4 connect to my computer via a RJ45 cable from my modem router, after having a problem with Vista and update, I perform a repair of Vista without problems, against by now that I want to transfer a file from my multimedia computer I get a message "Disk is write-protected" !!!!!
When I go to manage the hard disks are read-only.
    Thank you

I have had a message wanting me to remove the write protection on my SCAN Disk. After reading replies on the web site I decided to try myself.
I put the slider 1/2 way between lock and unlock and only pushed the disk in until the light started flashing (not all the way). It has worked on two different disks at the moment.
My disk slot is included with a HP all in one unit.

Remove the disk, remove the write protection (by flipping a tab on the disk), then try again.
