CD/DVDs not recognised by Vista!

Hi.
A few months ago I bought a new Acer laptop with Vista installed on it and it has recently stopped recognising discs in unnatural way.
It detect most of the DVD's but when i go for CD-ROM's and DVD games its stop responding, when i insert them the DVD drive starts reading it and sound of disc rotaion comes bit nothings happens when i try to access them.
I am working with Vista 64bit, dual core processor 1.60 ghz,DVD-RAM
80 GB SATA HDD.

It sounds like your DVD drive is getting dead if your laptop is under warranty period then take the help of service center.

See you can try by reinstalling your Vista but its more better to take the advantage of warranty period.

Thanks for reply. I have try by reinstalling Vista still i am facing same problem it seems i have to go service center. any other suggestions?
