Is your system running properly? As far as it is running fine, its fine. Processor do heat up to a certain extent and that is normal. But still if you feel that its getting too hot, you can have extra cooler fans to keep it cool. But that if your cabinet supports. Water cooling is also possible.

How old is your system and particularly processor? Was it giving the same temps earlier?

    To keep CPU cool -
    • Good Thermal paste is recommended, Like Artic Silver.
    • You should use fan's on the rear of the case blowing out.
    • Fan's on the lower front of the case blowing in.
    • Side mount fans usually best blowing in to help cool the video card, some are positioned to blow towards the cpu.
    • Basicly you should have equal air blowing to that of air blowing out. (Cool air in Hot air out)
    • The PSU can have effect on cooling for cpu, best to use PSU that has fan above the cpu which blows up & out usually accompanied by another or two fans within the PSU.

    In addition to above solutions,
    • Cables & wires inside the case can block proper air flow.

    • Room temp has big factor in keeping a cool PC.

    • Dust can make PC run hot, keep her clean!

    • Sometime what is more important than the number of fans is the amount of air that they can push, not all fans are the same.

    • Location of your case is factor, dont position next to monitor or any other heat sourse, I keep mine on the floor.

    • If you are overclocking, water cooling is another option.

So follow some of the things that I mentioned earlier. I think that should help you keep your CPU cool.

It can be because of absence of you are playing highly graphic recommended games, and it also can be because of your CPU FAN is not giving you quality job. what is the normal temperature of your CPU ? try to observe with the use of some software.. try using laptop cooler.. etc

Re: processor gets heated up quickly

games and graphics applications can draw more heat out of a processor, make sure ur laptop fan is running well , if it has dust on it ,get it serviced professionally , also consider using laptop cooler..
