Problems with HP printer

Hi,

I have problems with my HP printer, and everything is new but not the scanning function. Print any file from it, you all right, and when this tune.
I have the OS as Windows XP, and install the program that comes along with the printer as 5 times and nothing.

Disconnect the usb (or type of connection you get from the computer to the printer / scanner) and connect Again. Uninstall the drivers, turn off the printer, turn again and install it well again. It should work well.

hello , i use window xp . i install printer 1020 laser jet and also add from control panal proper when i wan to print some files , message me failer printing plz any one can help me plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The first thing to try is to uninstall/reinstall the printer software - maybe download the drivers from the net to reinstall. You may also want to try a System Restore and rollback to when it was working OK.

If this is the new printer and you are installing/using first time, it could be worth dropping the HP techies an email - while it may baffle us it could be a known issue with a quick fix to them!
