Hi
I have a minolta 2430 dl installed on the network that I can print to using all computers with xp.

I have a hp Pavilion dv2000 notebook running vista that is the problem. The notebook is wireless and I can ping the printer fine and get on the internet ok.

The problem is when I try to print any think from the note book it will not print until I power down the laptop then back on. It will print what was in the print que before I turn it off. Then not print anymore after that. Until I power down the notebook pc again.
Anyone have any idea?

The problem is with the driver.
I disabled user controls in vista and it has been working GREAT!!

If the problem was with the drivers of the printer, how did it get solved by just disabling user controls! Didn't you reinstall the driver? What exactly you did in user controls? I want to know because that will help me if I get such printer problem in future.

In the vista v2 instruction maual pdf on page 13 they talk about a solution to try with the UAC if everything else fails.

Oh, thank you for response. I will bookmark that link. I do get printing problems in of office sometimes. This tutorial might help me in such cases.
