My hard disk does not recognise screen

Whenever I switch on my computer the hard drive does not recognize always my screen. A message shown on the screen says to check the cable, and there is no signal.
Is there any one who can help me on this ?

What are you saying about, the hard drive does not recognise the screen?

you mean that your graphics card is not responding to the monitor?
reinstall graphics drivers and then find the .inf file for the monitor and install it,
