    Corrupted BIOS and IDE Controller

After a bad flash, I was not able to boot. So I tried to do hot swap to get the flash back. Now it boots but won't take any keyboard commands or read IDE drives. I think I have corrupted the computer's BIOS and IDE Controller.

So what to do now? Thanks in advance.

Playing with bios may result in bad situation and resulting you to buy different mobo. If you are having bad flash then either go to supplier for the solution or to manufacturer for the help.

Try to reset the bios. It will bring the bios to its default settings and remove any changes made to it for ever.

    Hope this will help you.

You can also get the latest bios version from the official site of your mobo and use it to update the bios on the system. Thus you can boot your system as normal.
