    Ghost changed disk's capacity

    Hello everyone,

I have the following problem, making a ghost of a disk of 40 GB to one of 160 GB, ghost, at the end gave an error and now the record shows a capacity of 37.5 GB I have tried different ways and will not let me go back to its initial capacity.
Is there any way to restore the disk to its original configuration?
I thank who can help me
    Greetings to all

    Hello,

I do not understand how you could do this, if what you were doing is a backup or disk image of the 40 ghost does not touch anything on the partition not say what option ghost realized, suppose that you have one of 40 as slave .. Is that not much details .. and it is difficult to guess

    Hi,

May the real capacity of your hard according to the bios that is what the orders are 38.5 GB and 40 GB not, manufacturers calculate capacity in decimal (1 GB = 1000 MB) and bios in binary (1 GB MB = 1024) why the difference according to whom you the information ..

I have never used ghost so i am not entirely sure about this, but maybe ghost made a 40 gb (or 38.5) partition on the disk so the copy was exactly the same as the original?? I have never used ghost so i cant be sure.
