Well what i want is a drive that plays 7 burn Blu-ray media, & HDDVD. I am now asking if there are more options? or what do you recommend? dual player & burner or not?

What i would suggest you to go for LG drives, they are solid performers.
LG GGW-H20L is good you can burn BluRay discs.

PC Bluray playback software (PowerDVD, WinDVD, TotalMedia) all support all current features required by blu-ray. All future features can be patched in as with any other PC application.
