Unable to use certain mouse buttons

I am running Windows XP Pro on my system and am using Razer Krait Gaming Mouse. Recently I am facing some problem like while playing games I am unable to use some buttons such as 4 and 5. Whenever I try to use it, nothing happens. How can I fix this problem?

The use of these buttons depends on the game you are playing. Generally not all games need buttons 4 and 5. If that happens to all the games then that could be the driver issue. Update your drivers and check.

I was also thinking that it could be the drivers issue but I updated the driver from the razer site but that to didn't solve the problem. Any other suggestion?

Have you contacted the technical support on the razer site and asked them to solve the matter?

Might be you need to do some settings in those games to use those buttons. Trial and error always solves the problem.
