    Computer don't power on

After about a week, I am switching my pc on and just pressed the power button but it is not starting. What could be the problem?

    Processor: IntelĀ® Core™2 Duo
    GeForce 8800 Ultra
    2GB RAM
    600W PSU

I am thinking of my PSU wouldn't be enough for my pc? Anyone have any idea.

Actually, the PSU should not be the reason of this but as you are saying that it don't starts then it is possible that the PSU faulty. Why don't you try some other source of power (I mean different psu or anything else) and see if it still happens?

I tried a new psu but am facing a new problem. As soon as I power on the switch, I get the Intel's first screen and then it either hangs out or shuts down automatically. Is this motherboard problem?

I am having Intel D975XBX2 Motherboard.

Have you checked the cables properly? Are they connected in the right manner? Because some times this may happen due to loose connections. Also check whether the RAM and graphics card are placed properly or not?

Thanks Dutta I tried your suggestion but it didn't worked. It just remind me to try some other RAM and I borrowed it from my neighbourhood and it worked. So I decided to change my RAM. Anyways thanks everyone for your inputs.
