Why not contact your vendor from whom you purchased your PC?
He will provide you the sound drivers.
What is your motherboard?
Just try this basics first
1) Go to start/ control panel/ administrative tools/ component services/ services.
2) Scroll down to Windows audio and make sure that it is enabled. If not simply click it then enable.
Now check if your sound is back. If not...
go to your BIOS menu at 'Integrated devices' press enter to access it. Go to sound and check if its off.If it is tur it on by pressing space bar. Press ESC twice, pick 'Save and exit' and hit enter.
Check your sound.
Tried this but still having problem.
My Motherboard is ECS P4M800-M7 1.0 & processor 3.1 gigahertz Intel.
Ok what you need to do is download your sound driver from http://www.ecsusa.com/ECSWebSite/Pro...nuID=7&LanID=9
Just make a system restore point before download & install so that you can rollback if any problem occurs.
Well thanks for your help
I just reformatted my PC & installed XP.
Now its working fine, i think i need a good driver compatible to Vista & i can able to get audio in Vista. Since i am planning for a dual boot setup.
