How to change the colour of Windows 7 Basic

Not many users of computer, now a days, have a good graphics card with high end features. So at times when they install Windows 7, they find that Aero is not available for them. Instead, they can just see "Windows 7 basic" theme. But this is not what most of them wants in their new operating system. They just want to get away from such a basic theme which they were having on their previous version of Windows.

So, here is a small guide/tutorial on how to change Windows 7 basic color scheme:

1. Right click in an empty area on your Windows Desktop.
2. Click Personalize and then click on Window Color.
3. Window Color and Appearance window will open up. You can now customize your color scheme by going to "Chose a custom color" or you can even select a different color by going to the Color Mixer icon.
4. Adjust the intensity of the color.
5. Click on "Save changes" for changes to take effect.

Thank you a lot dude for your generous help. It was so kind of you to share your knowledge with everyone of us. I tried what you have mentioned in your post and i must say it did worked for me. Now i have completely changed the basic theme of my Windows 7. But it would be much better if there was any kind of software available for the same purpose. A software would minimize my efforts and would perform the task in much better manner.
