How to Sync Nokia Lumia with Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft Outlook is a complete mail client that offers you calendar, contact and to-do list sync. You can now sync your Windows Phone with it. A mobile phone is the most portable way to keep records. You can instantly create a calendar entry, set an event/meeting/reminder, etc. but what if you want the same thing on your PC or on web based Outlook.com. For that you have to sync the phone with PC. Windows Phone comes loaded with amazing features, but when it comes to Sync it is somewhat limited. So I found an app that can help you to do this. It is called as DejaOffice. A free app that instantly sync the phone with Outlook and update details. All calendar events, task and contacts are updated in your pc which you can later sync with Outlook.com. You have to download Companion Link software that works with app to sync your Outlook content with the device. So let’s move ahead with the sync process.

Step 1: Go to Windows Store and Search for DejaOffice (Free)

    Windows Phone Store

Step 2: You will find two apps. First is DejaOffice and the second one is DejaOffice - WP7 Outlook Sync. Download the first one. Second is for Windows Phone 7 which does not support USB and Wi-Fi Sync.

I was using the default way of syncing. It is like just using the same live account on pc and mobile phone. But it does not sync task. Thanks to this free tool. I am no able to get sync my Windows Phone with my laptop over wifi. It is really simple and sync process is less time consuming. It is impressive when you are moving out and want all your details on your phone.
