So in short your data is copy pasted in two partitions. One is the primary location and other is Pool space which combination of different hard drives.
The second option here is Three way mirrors. When you choose this option you can store your data in three locations. So if two drives fail still there are maximum chances to get them all. Three way mirrors is recommended for those who have higher hard drive space or extra drive in their system. The last option is by Parity. This method is bit not recommended as it put heavy impact on your disk performance. You might notice a slow system if you create your data backup process by enabling parity. Parity is a process which ensures that there is no error while copy data. It needs an additional hard drive also as it does not work on your existing partition. This process has a robust option to protect your system against Data loss but quiet not recommended if you need better performance. So you can see all this three options are enough cool to give you mental satisfaction. This is the first time we are going to use a software level raid protection integrated inside Windows.
