    Smartphone Buying Guide

Today Smart phones have become essential element as they combine both cell phone and PDA functions in one unit. Now they have become daily need of every person, no matter in business or to stay connected with family or friends. But picking a suitable smartphone can be a very challenging task. There are a lot of terms and technologies that we need to learn about along with the cost that you will be paying for. In addition, as we know there are constant restitution, various OS platforms (IOS, Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry, Bada, Symbian Belle), everyday coming new updates, new UI, it is not easy to choose a smartphone. So it’s important to make the right choice from the start. Here are few important concepts to make a proper choice.

    Screen:

The screen is the window and very important element of your device. There are various factors aside from size that matter! Focus on terminals equipped with AMOLED displays, Super AMOLED, Retina, Bravia . Also its properties depend on the technology of its slab. Don’t go with any inconvenience screens for example short viewing angles, contrast that prevents any particular reading in direct sunlight, etc… I’ll suggest for the capacitive displays as they are well-liked now a days like Apple iPhone, as they are touch-sensitive but don’t require any pressure. Also these screens offer multi-touch along with gestures some phones depending on the OS.

    Phone Design:

Most phones have good ergonomics, which ensures a good grip, and a height / weight ratio control. Feel free to take the mobile in hand, especially if your heart leans a great smartphone for more than 4 inches. Check the keypad, virtual or physical, especially if you deal with huge number of SMS and emails. Lacking the portability, neatness, thinness, and lightness of high-end smartphones, brick phones come in four distinct designs: clamshell, candybar, swivel, and slider. In terms of finish, things vary. The plastics industry is still king and you often opt for a high-end smartphone to benefit from a very good finish.

    Multimedia capabilities:

Apart from just making or receiving calls, smartphones are also used for watching movies, playing music, games and open documents. Most phones do YouTube as well, either through a separate YouTube app (iPhone, Android) or via the mobile YouTube site. There are lots more youi need to do with your smartphone. It is clearly seen to be a trend: a handful of smartphones offer a good quality picture.

    Applications:

To make a good smartphone, you need good apps. And to get these apps, you need application store like App store for iPhone, Android Market for Android devices, Marketplace for Windows Mobiles, Ovi Store for Nokia mobiles that allows to download and install 1000 of apps.

    Re: Smartphone Buying Guide

    Samsung Galaxy S II:

The powerful Samsung Galaxy S surprises in the form with extremely multimedia packed and light weight. We particularly regret a Super AMOLED Plus completely hysterical in color management and HDMI connectivity via an optional cable. Web browsing on such a 4.3 inch screen is amazing. Even with the flash a web page is displayed in seconds and runs without flinching. Packed with 8 megapixels, the photo sensor is at the top, although Samsung practice a little smoothing and edge enhancement on shots. Finally, the GS II features a powerful multimedia decoder that can read almost any type of files up to 1080p.

    Google Galaxy Nexus:

A huge beautiful screen, size / weight control, an innovative interface with new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, brings a breath of fresh air in the busy day to day life. The Samsung Galaxy Google-Nexus is a great smartphone, but this is not the only one!

    Apple iPhone 4s:

Apple iPhone 4S, always very easy to use, packed with new significant features like effective camera, speed of task execution. With the new realistic Siri assistant, Apple continues its strategy to offer the best with more and more services. The IPS LCD with LED backlight offers a resolution of 960x640 pixels and displays viewing angles very open. The characters on web pages are perfectly readable with basic display without having to zoom in, effective Super AMOLED panel in terms of rendering.

    Nokia Lumia 800:

With 800 Lumia, Nokia signed a new place near the evil HTC Titan. With this terminal, the world leader in telephony made a significant return, bearing in passing an OS that is worth trying. The ClearBlack AMOLED 3.7 inch (480 x 800p) proves effective in use. Contrast is infinite but the brightness is a little low even at maximum thrust. If blue is true, the other colors are a bit delusional. It is actually quite close to the Galaxy S on this point. The screen is very attractive, not to spoil it fits perfectly into the framework. Like the iPhone and its inseparable iTunes, Windows Phone are all dependent on the Zune software to synchronize its content (movies, photos, music ...). Not exactly ergonomic, the Lumia 800 it will still remain forever linked.
