How to transfer from Facebook to Google+ ?

HI, I posting this guide for the people who want to make use of google+ but they have already spent a lot of vital time and information in Facebook and it’s not easy moving to a new social network. Moving social networks isn’t the simplest thing to do, but fortunately there are a many tools that we can make us of to migrate pictures, videos, and friends.

Hence here are a few quick tips on shifting your information from Facebook account to your new Google+ account.

Export Facebook Information to google account:

First of all you have to start with downloading all of your Facebook information. And for doing that you need to follow some steps:

1- log into your Facebook account and go to “account settings” appear on upper right corner, refer the Image below.

2- As soon as you clicked on the account settings page comes in to view, and from that you have to select the link as mentioned below in the figure, which will be appeared at the bottom of the list.

3- Since you click that link a page would be visible, in which you have to clicked on the archive button, and as you do this it will prompt you for the password, hence enter it and you'll be able to download those information from your subscribed mail account.





4- Once you receive the email on your subscribed account, click the link to download a zip of all of your files.


5- Now verify the information by extracting the files and open the index.html file.

Associate facebook profile to google+ account:

1 You need to first of all log in to your google account and click on the settings that will be appeared on the upper right corner of your screen.


2 As the screen appears you have to click on “connected accounts” link at the left corner you can refer the image below.





3 Click on “connect an account” button and enter the profile name that you have putted on your facebook account.

4 And then click on “add” button.


5 Now click on the home page and you can see the link on right side of the page.

Import and share Pictures from facebook to google+ account:

Google+ uses Picasa web albums to share pictures thus you need to have Picasa installed in your PC in order to share picture.

1. As you completed the installation, open Picasa and add the Facebook photos folder you just downloaded to picasa.
   
   
2. Set Picasa to examine the folders one time, and then let it do the import.
   
   
3. Once the pictures have finished importing into Picasa, find the albums and select Sync to Web on the right.
   
   
4. A pop-up window will open and ask you to sign in to web albums. Log in with your Google+ account.
   
   
5. I’d recommend setting your new album visibility to private by default.
   
   
6. Go back to Picasa and hit it off sync button; your photos will be uploaded in the background.
   
   
7. Now for sharing the pictures log into Google+ and click on photos in the top banner and Navigate to your albums on the left.
   
   
8. Open the album you just uploaded and click share album at the top.

Import and share your Videos on google+ account:

Importing videos is a lot less preset than pictures. To import your Facebook videos browse to your Facebook export you downloaded earlier and there will be a videos folder. And for accessing them follow the steps.

1. Log into your Google+ account and click on your profile >> videos.
   
   
   
   
   
2. As the page appears click “upload new videos” on the right and drag the videos from your computer to your browser.
   
   
3. Since videos are done uploading we can name, make, and share the album from Google+.

Import Facebook friends to google+

1. You have to Log in to your yahoo account through the FaceBook ID as the Link would be displayed. And you can refer the image below.
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. Confirm access and sign in with your facebook account, as you completed with this, you have to open the contact list from your yahoo account and click on “Tools” and select “Import” option and Select Facebook from the selected options.
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Since you confirmed the import will happen automatically.
   
   
4. Again click on the “Tools” and now select “Export”. As the next screen appears Export your contacts to Microsoft Outlook confirm and save the file.

5. Now login to Gmail account and click contacts >> more actions >> import.
   
   
6. Now you have to browse the “.csv” file you just downloaded and pick it for importing.
   
   
7. Now Login through the Google+ account and your newly imported contacts will show up under find and invite and you can add them to circles and send invites to them.
