    How to scan for Viruses / Malwares from Spyware Doctor

    This version is currently in beta version, meaning that it is not finalized, it is currently not recommended to use it. You must also register to download this version.

    • Run the newly downloaded file
    • Setup like to Welcome you, click the Next button to proceed to next step


    • You must then accept the license to use, click the button I accept the terms of
    • Click the Next button to proceed to next step


    • You must specify the folder where Spyware Doctor is installed, by default it offers the C: \ Program Files \ Doctor Spywrare
    • You can change this path using the Browse button
    • Click the Next button to proceed to next step


    • The installation wizard then asks you if you want to activate the protection of Spyware Doctor start Windows, if you wish, leave the Enable Spyware Doctor protection at Windows startup checked.
    • Click the Next button to proceed to next step


    • When the file copy is complete, you get the window.
    • The installation will complete and update wizard Smart Update will begin.
    • Click the Next button to proceed to next step
    • You must select the items you want to update.
    • Click the Next button to proceed to next step
    • When the upgrade is complete, click Finish.

    First start Spyware Doctor

    You can start by go into Start Menu / Programs / Spyware Doctor / Spyware Doctor. The interface is simple, it comes with the vertical tabs to the left and in the central menus.

    On the main window you can view the information (guard activated version of the product, the signature version, last scan done .. etc).

    Note that you can start at any time an update from Smart Update button at the top right.

    Scan your computer

    To increase your chances of eradicating malware, it is strongly recommended to scan your computer in Safe Mode.

    To start a scan of your computer, simply click on the Start Scan button on the left. You will then have the choice between:

    • A quick scan which scans the parts of the computer may host malware.
    • A complete scan which scans all parts of the computer.
    • A custom scan where you choose what is Spyware Doctor scanner.


    On the right a progress bar shows you the progress of the scan. Below the number of items scanned and detected is indicated. At the end of the scan detected appear as a list with a description on the right. All items are automatically checked.

    Note that you can from the Create a restore point system, as its name suggests creating a restore point, it may be interesting to prevent various failures following the eradication of malware.

    Click Repair to begin and continue the removal of malware checked.

    The function of automatic update Smart Update Spyware Doctor now requires less pure restart updates and upgrades of product. For those wishing to make updates manually, the process is simplified and takes two clicks.

    You can follow the link below to scan for viruses. Just go ahead and install the virus removal tool and run a quick scan. It will scan your computer for trojan, spyware, adware.
