How To Check Movie Quality From 1 .RAR File

If you are like me, you might have used many uploading sites like Rapidshare, Megaupload, etc, and when you download any movie files from there then quite often films are always split into at least 7 parts. With the new bandwidth limitations it can be a pain when you decide to download the movie in full, to find a low quality release. With this tutorial, you can check the quality by downloading only one part of the release. This is how:

1. Download the FIRST part of the film (in this case, I shall be using the first part of the release Tranporters 3 PROPER R5 XviD-COALiTiON)

2. After downloading the first part of the film, right click on the .rar file and click on Extract Files.

3. When the window pops up (Extraction path and options), tick the checkbox under Miscellaneous "Keep broken files".

4. After you have ticked the box, click OK and wait for the file to extract. When it asks you for Part 2, click Cancel.

5. The folder will then be extracted to the place where the original file was placed (in this case on the Desktop). Open the folder and play the file!

If I manage to get the video out of the rar file, then I'll try to play it with AVIPreview. Playing the rar file itself with AVIPreview doesn't work. I guess AVIPreview is the same kind of player as VideoLAN.

You can use 'extract files' option (right click on file to see it) and tick 'keep broken files'. It will work on the part1 file alone or if some of the other part files are broken.

VLC works Fine, it is supposed to play all types of files, & also while installing, make sure you make a complete install or reinstall complete package... !!
