Step 12.

IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS, then you have to check the screen on the right hand side which means that the IP Address for the required printer cannot be accessed on the network. Try selecting the back button option and also ensure that you have entered the perfect IP Address. Also make a check inorder to view that your network printer is properly powered on and is displaying a 'ready' status.

Step 13.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE PROBLEMS, Your operating system i.e Windows XP will try to scan the entire network in order to find your printer's IP Address. It will take a sometime. Then select finish to proceed further.

Step 14.

You should now try selecting the printer's manufacturer and model with the help of printer setup CD. Your oprating system i.e Windows XP will automatically select from the detected manufacturer and printer driver. generally, you should not change this default selection.

Step 15.

In case that if your printer is in the list but you have visibility of more than one printer model inorder to choose from, then try to select the model with PS name, if it is available in the list.

Step 16.

If your network printer is been not detected during the search then, try to select the Windows Update button and search for the proper software drivers.
