I will be completing my HSC this year and after that I am planning to go for Journalism. I wanted to know which are the careers after completing Journalism?? Which is the best job? Which is the best college in Mumbai for Journalism?? Which is the best course for pursuing Journalism?? Is there anyone who can help me out with these questions??

Going for Journalism after HSC is a good choice, once you complete your HSC with minimum of 55% marks then you can opt for degree or diploma in journalism. If you want then after that you can opt for post graduate degree in the same. There are entrance test carried in Colleges or Universities for applying in B.A degree in Journalism. One need to have good communication and interpersonal skills as Journalism is a challenging job in the sector. Journalism is said to be divided in to Print and Electronic categories, the print media includes fields like Newspapers, Associate Editor, Sub-editor, Editor, Proof Reader, Reporter, Correspondent/Special reporter, Writer, Feature writer, Leader writer, Columnist, Critic, Photojournalist, Cartoonist. Whereas Electronic includes career options as Researchers, Production Workers, Floor Managers, Transmission Executives, Reporters, Sound technicians, Camera workers, Presenters. Other than Print and Electronic categories there is a third category called Web Journalism as well where journalist have to write interesting and updated news content.
