What is the date of IES and PSU exam application form

I would like to know the full details about the Application Form dates of IES and PSU exams and I would also like to know what is the difference between these two exams. And if possible let me know the dates of Examination also.

Date for I.E.S. exam - 2012
Date of notification - 18.08.2012
Last of recite of form - 17.09.2012
Date of exam - 01.12.2012

PSU exam can be anytime between March to November. As the exams are based on the present projects so it differs from time to time. And the results of this exam will be given after 45 days of exams.

IES and PSU exams are good but yes PSU have lots of exams and they are not that tough as compared to IES. And even there are lots of vacancies of PSU exams compared to IES. And about the eligibility, you require more than 65% in your graduation for PSU but in IES you can give this exam without any criteria. Even you can get better salary in PSU compared to IES.

I.E.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C in every year or so. For I.E.S you have to get degree in any one of these field:
1. Civil engineering
2. Electrical engineering
3. Mechanical engineering.
4. Electronics and Communication Engineering.
